Great. Another blogger.
Last post, I said "hello!" to the blogging world and fully embraced my dream job as my real job. It was great, but it was also a little daunting. When approached about blogging the past, I always said "No!" It was my firm belief that the internet didn't need one more person adding to the virtual clutter. I also didn't think I had anything worthwhile to say.
And yet... here I am. Taking up some of this infinite internet space.
I haven't changed my mind - I'm still not sure I have anything worthwhile to add to the conversation - but I have changed my attitude. I'm not viewing this blog as a space to share my brilliance or tried-and-true tips. I think, instead, it is going to be a place for me to share growing pains and successes as I continue to navigate this consulting world.
What can readers and looky-loos expect from me moving forward?
- Posts where I am unabashedly excited about Kuyumjian Consulting wins!
- Posts responding to things happening in museum / visitor studies / nonprofit world I'm thinking about and trying to understand better.
- Posts where I discuss risks I took or ideas I tested out, even if they didn't work out the way I wanted to.
- Posts on other things I've yet to think of!
If I am going to start taking up space on the internet, I'd like to do it in a way that embraces honesty and humor. Join me! I promise - you'll either be laughing at me or with me.* Both are fine by me.
*This has been my approach to life for the last 10+ years. Choosing, daily, to find the humor in most anything has seriously been one of the best decisions I ever made. Strongly recommend it.
