Early in our careers, I met Taline at a conference awards ceremony where we were recognized as promising emerging visitor studies professionals. With warmth and openness, she quickly welcomed me into her network of peer colleagues at the conference and set the stage for the years of friendship that followed. Taline’s leadership truly shines, whether working out details of an evaluation plan, coordinating conference events, or highlighting the strategic thinking behind a logic model. She is a deep, observant thinker who can articulate complexity with eloquence. As a peer and frequent project partner, Taline offers valuable insights; I look forward to each collaborative opportunity that arises, and am thankful she contributes her acute perception as a guide for the field of visitor studies.
